Tristan turned 18 months old on Wednesday (in "Mike" terms, he is a year and a half old). Wow things are so different from 12 months old!! It is true what they say...you blink and they change so much. Tristan is saying all sorts of words and I SWEAR he said "Daddy come back" the other night. He is absorbing everything. He loves to say "hello," "bye-bye," "car," "no,"and of course "cracker" (which means cookie).
He loves to eat whole apples as a snack and he will drive his cozy coupe for hours. He is really bad at sharing, but we are working on it. He loves his best friend Chase. He misses his cousins and gets really excited when he gets to see them.
He dances ALL.THE.TIME! I am taping 'So You Think You Can Dance" so he can see all sorts of dances. He loves music and sometimes that is all it takes to change his mood around. Tristan loves his boppas (puppies)...they still don't like him :(. He gets so excited when he sees his Poppie, Nana, or Fuzzy!! If you don't make him have a nap he will go all day without one.
He gets really excited when 'Thomas the Tank Engine" comes on TV and he will watch full episodes of 'Sesame Street' sometimes. He can be a little devil! He will not sit in the car seat anymore. I physically have to hold him down while buckling him in. He will go from happy one minute, to crazed the next. He wants to do everything on his own. The one good thing is that usually I can still get him to give me hugs and kisses :) This makes my whole day!
He had a very successful 18 month doctor's visit and he seems to be right on track! He got one vaccine and had his hemoglobin checked
Here are his 18month measurements:
Weight: 22.14 pounds (still a little peanut, but this kid does not sit still)
Length: 32"
Head Circumference: 48 cm
Here are some fun photos from the week!
I love spaghetti!
