Well this Christmas was not the most fun year because Santa brought us the plague :( We were all so sick that we couldn't really even enjoy our normal Christmas traditions. We even had spaghetti chili (still extremely yummy...thank you Lindsay!!) for dinner instead of making it out to my dad's for his famous ziti. This was a major bummer because it was Tristan's first *real* Christmas...the one that he may remember. I just hope we were able to make is somewhat memorable, but next year will be better!
We woke up and opened presents around our tree and then made our way over to my mom's house for breakfast. We opened presents over at her house and then tucked in and put on "The little engine that could" for Tristan on Netflix while Mike and I tried to nap. It was so hard being sick and we tried everything to not get Wesley sick.
Wesley did catch it :( They diagnosed him with RSV which isn't a big deal for any one older than a year (in fact they say that all children have had it by the time they are 2), but really bad for babies. They aren't strong enough to cough out the mucus in their lungs so a lot of times it turns into pneumonia. We had to take him in for daily checks at the pediatrician and we even had to take him to the ER. It was horrible!
