MIKETOBERFEST

We decided to throw Mike a 30th birthday party/going away party last weekend.  He will be celebrating his real birthday in basic training (July 10th) so a party was just what the doctor ordered.  Since he will be missing out on all of our fun Fall activities this year, we decided to bring fall to him. We through him an Octoberfest party...MIKETOBERFEST!  

Everyone brought beer to share and we did a beer tasting.  There was amazing German food made by Kim and a huge, yummy, German chocolate cake made by a local baker. Needless to say it was a lot of fun.  The weather was perfect and it actually even felt a little like September!  

I gave Mike the option of what to wear, and he said that he wanted to dress up!  I ran with the idea, and he now owns his very own authentic pair of Leiderhosen.  We even made T-shirts!
